lives and works in Berlin, Germany
Joan Saló graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, Spain in 2006 and furthered his education at the Academia di Belle Arti of Bologna, Italy. His work has been shown in several international solo and group exhibitions. He also has participated in the CCA Andratx Residency Program in Andratx, Mallorca, Spain in 2018. The incessant movement of the line gives rise to an intermittent painting which creates nuances of light and dark, volume and transparency and create a spatiality in this way. The reiteration of the gesture becomes a contemplative act of making and seeing.
